Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts Center School provides a safe and caring space that encourages artistic expression and diversity while offer an integrated learning environment that combines a rigorous core curriculum with intensive arts didactics. Students are able to report creative writing, trip the light fantastic toe, digital arts, filmmaking, instrumental music, theater, musical theater, vocal music and the visual arts. The experiences students will have through coursework led by professional person artists will shape their inventiveness in visual and performing arts. Students work with local professional person artists and companies to develop projects and performances. At that place is always a visiting professional artist or arts company in residence at our school. Students are well prepared here for more avant-garde level work at one of the Greater Hartford University of the Arts High Schools.

In the 2021-22 school year, Greater Hartford Academy of Arts Middle School is moving and joining Ana Grace Academy of the Arts Unproblematic School at its permanent location at 29 Griffin Road North, Bloomfield, CT 06002. Ana Grace Academy of the Arts 5th grade students will automatically remain enrolled in the new school location and do non demand to consummate a RSCO on-line application for the 2022- 23 school yr.
Direct Pathway
Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts Magnet Middle 6thgrade students have a direct pathway option to attend ninth grade to either Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts High School—Full Day. To be considered for this direct pathway placement, you must submit an on-fourth dimension 2022-23 RSCO online application either the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts Loftier School—Total Day as your kickoff choice school.
